The Suncorp ESSI Money Challenge has finished for another year. This year, we had over 3,000 students compete. It was great to see so many students taking part. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Last week we visited Brisbane Grammar School to present the 2017 prize to Xavier Cichero, winner in the 16-18 age category. Xavier made some skillful financial decisions and strategic game play moves to achieve a great result.
He beat over 3,000 students from across Australia and finished the game with a net result of almost $45,500.
Thanks to the generous support of Suncorp, our Presenting Partner, Xavier won $1000 for himself and $4000 for his school.
Congratulations also goes to the 12-15 category winner - Rachel Li from North Sydney Girls High School who finished the game with a net result of over $39,000. We will be presenting her prize in November.
